A little about Edmonton
Edmonton is a metropolitan area with just over 1 million people. It is a culturally, economically, and socially diverse city that is currently facing the challenges of rapid growth.
Edmonton has plenty of notable qualities: lots of festivals, a great parks/trail system, bad drivers, worse winters, a vibrant (and sometimes violent) local sports scene, Leslie Neilsen, potholes, and people who complain about potholes. The list goes on.
